Same issue. I just got a new soundbar that seems to have made the problem much worse; now it will say “atmos device disconnected” and then “atmos device connected” when it does this. But occurs randomly
My frame is doing the same thing and now I can’t upload any art! Not even with a usb, it will say the photos have no resolution. Nothing is wrong w the photos or the usb. When I try to load them from the app photos won’t load to even click them to add them. So I have mo photos at all in art mode since I did a reset and now I’m stuck with a black blank tv. I have the newest model! This is ridiculous!!!
I just got the 1520 update. Never had any of these problems but I do now. Keeps switching from Art to the Samsung channels. It what I want from this tv.
So this continues… sometimes a few times a day, sometimes every few days.
I use this 95% of the time in art mode. My work around is to keep/put the sound volume all the way down to zero while in Samsung plus/channels before switching to art mode. Then when it does switch from art mode there is no sound. I just need to remember to turn the volume all the off/down before going into art mode.
The second work around is the last channel used in Samsung plus is set to the Samsung fireplace log, so when the frame switches, it usually comes up as a nice burning fire video. Not perfect but better than other channels. The station does aire 30 seconds of commercials every now and then, but most of the time the fire comes up.
Not sure if everyone has Samsung’s fire log channel. On mine it’s channel 1221.
What’s also good for me is that if I’ve been in Netflix, it will still use channel 1221 after I’m done with Netflix and back in Art mode.
Same problem here. It’s so bad I can’t even use my art mode. Since the settings changed where the minimum time an image can switch changed from 3 mins to 15 mins I can’t even see a new image because the TV constantly switches out of art mode. It’s maddening!
I don't even care anymore if it doesn't work with ATV turning off and going straight to Art mode. I just want ART MODE to stop quoting on its own. Up to 20 times art mode just stops and switches to HDMI 1 or Samsung TV. On it's own. Randomly. Art mode should stay in art mode until the user switches it. Just fix this primary function!
I'm not normally one to complain but given Art Mode is the selling point of The Frame and it's now essentially useless, this situation is absurd. These TVs are not exactly cheap!
I have this same issue and it’s endlessly frustrating. This started after an update and now instead of going to art mode or sleep it will jump to the antenna and live tv starts blaring. When are they going to fix this?
please contact support and mention this thread. I thought I had it fixed with a new logic board but it persists.
