So, I've been having issues with my NBA app. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't. Last week, it wouldn't load at all, and the loading symbol wouldn't even show on the TV screen. I've been having this issue for a long time, and it's not just the NBA app; it's also the Max and ESPN apps. My other apps work just fine and load without any problems. My TV is a 2017 model, and I updated it a few days ago to see if the NBA app would work, but it didn't, even after the update. I deleted the NBA app and tried to reinstall it, but the server was under maintenance for a week, so I wasn't able to search for anything. Today, I tried to search for and redownload the NBA app, but it's not even popping up anymore. I contacted Samsung, and they said I have an older model that's no longer compatible, and I'm like, how is that possible when I was just using it a couple of days ago???
You lost it when you deleted it. You couldn't get it back because the app is no longer supported on your model any longer. It's 8 years old. App developers do not want to support older devices. It costs a lot of money to maintain apps. Eventually, they stop supporting older devices.
If you have the ability to attach a streaming device to your device, I suggest this option.
The streaming device i use Google TV PRO made by Walmart ONN division. It is a great streaming device with plenty of storage, snappy, and great remote control with a built-in speaker for hands-free control.
