Monitors and MemoryIf my G9 is powered on, my desktop computer, connected via Display Port, will on complete POST. When the monitor is off/disconnected, computer is fine.
In Windows 11, the monitor needs to be turned off/on 3-5 times before Windows (and the monitor) handshake properly and the monitor can be used.
HDMI doesn't seem to have this issue but I'm unable to use 240hz / 7680x2160 resolution on HDMI, regardless of what cable is used.
Windows detects 239.99hz refresh rate but Nvidia is only showing 60hz when using 7680x2160. 5120x1440 shows 240hz?
When the monitor is on and detected, it's everything I wanted it to be...but the daily struggle to get to this point is extremely frustrating.
Yes, I've tried multiple Display cables. I even paid for specifically rated 8K@240hz DisplayPort 2.1.
Firmware updated to: M-C9557GGPA-1008.2
Video Card is a Gigabyte RTX4700TI
Video Drivers: 581.57
Any suggestions are welcomed. This is a very expensive monitor and these basic functional issues shouldn't exist is a $3000 monitor....

Monitors and MemoryI found the following in the G9 manual:
If you want to set the optimum resolution for your computer, please refer to (Q&A) → “How can I change the
resolution?”
― You can adjust the refresh rate according to the screen resolution by selecting Game → Refresh Rate in the
OSD menu. (S57CG95*N model only.)
― To enable the maximum refresh rate, set FreeSync Premium Pro (in HDMI mode only.) to On or set Refresh
Rate to 240 Hz. (S57CG95*N model only.)
― This menu is only available when Refresh Rate is set to 240 Hz. (in DisplayPort mode) (S57CG95*N model only).
Can you try an AMD 9070 card? All the complaints here seem to be centered around NVIDIA's.
I have yet to see one person (me included) complaining about a monitor on an AMD 9070.
