Screws for VESA mount for Odyssey G70B 27" (LS28BG702ENXGO)

I removed the installed VESA bracket and tried to use the round adapter provided for wall or articulated mounts, but the holes are too small for the screws that came with the monitor. Could this be a mistake by Samsung, or was the wrong adapter provided?

Please advise. Thank you.

Are you trying to mount the adapter to the monitor or the external vesa mount?

The Samsung wall bracket will mount to the monitor with the Samsung provided screws.

Mating the bracket to an external mount will rely on hardware provided with the aftermarket assy.

I used the screws provided by the external VESA mount.

The original screws are the captive type and as soon as I force remove them the thread got damaged.
