I recently got the Odyssey Ark 55 and was setting it up and have run into a weird issue. Im following the setup instructions to a T and when I got to the point where you take the vertical piece of the stand and snap it in place, then rotate it 90 degrees to tighten a screw, the screw wont tighten. Same thing when I rotate the stand 90 degrees in the other direction. I removed the stand piece and noticed that while there are holes located where the screws are, they are much larger than the screws and there is nothing inside the hole for the screws to thread into. Its like its missing that piece or the piece came loose. While I still managed to complete the setup, that arm is just held in by the tabs at this point. Has anybody else run into this issue? And yes the monitor was laying face-down while in the Styrofoam supports are indicated in the setup instructions.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! I see how this can be a cause for concern with your new monitor not being able to screw into the stand correctly. You do have two options you can go to samsungparts.com and input your model number and get the screws for your stand. Or if you prefer you can take this back for an exchange just in case it was not the correct screws for your monitor.
