Monitors and MemorySuddenly cannot access a relatively new SSD. Blue light illuminates for seconds, then flashes for seconds, then is solid for seconds, than blank. Device does show on computer at anytime even during the lighting as above. Has about 4 TB of data on 8 TB device.

Monitors and MemoryHello userd68VY9NuUd ,
The SSD not detecting can unfortunately happen due to several reasons. Please check the following.
1. Check connection, try different cables and different ports. Do not use adapters or USB hubs for testing purposes.
2. Make sure to check your Windows "Device Manager" and look under "Disk Drives" category.
For MAC, Make sure to check your "Disk utility App".
If your SSD is not configured properly, the SSD may only show up under these suggested options.
3. Try a different computer to see if the issue follow the new SSD.
If none of this works, contact Samsung technical support, by calling 1-800-726-7864 (Samsung US ) and then ask for "memory support".
You may also, contact your computer manufacturer to verify that all updates needed are complete and they may be able to help verify the condition of your USB ports.
