LED and OLED TVsHello Everyone,
I have a UN50MU630D TV. I tried attaching a FAT32 formatted Centon Datastick ProUSB to the TV. But when I moved the source to the "USB 3.0" which the TV recognized, I received a "No content detected" message. I have tried using other USB sticks as well. The video files I am trying to view are .MPG4 . The latest file on the drive is compressed at H.264. However, I tried using Handbrake to reduce it to H.160. That did not work either. Does anyone have ideas on making this work?
Thank you

LED and OLED TVs@Randy07071 Per the user manual for that TV, FAT32 is not supported.

LED and OLED TVsHi LongHiker,
Thank you for the quick response. As I mentioned, I am using a stick with a FAT file system. Just now I tried a drive with an exFAT file system. I did get slightly further - ie no "Content not detected" message. With the second drive the screen freezes with a revolving circle. Still no video files appearing.

LED and OLED TVsI used one of the flash drives w/the same video file on a friend's smart TV, and it played fine, so I know it works. I guess I'll have to buy a Media Player that I can plug the drive into, and add a short HDMI cable running from the player to the TV.
