Samsung - 42” Class S90F Series OLED 4K UHD SamsungVision AI Smart Tizen TV (2025)
Model: QN42S90FAEXZA

The picture is set to filmmaker. It looks great in the daytime with TV broadcast (xfinity) and streaming such as Netflix. At night the picture is too dark and makes our eyes tired. Tried moving the brightness from 30 -> 50. No change.

In Eco mode the colors look better but people way too realistic.

I'm curious if they can say if filmmaker mode is DCI-P3, in which case it should be reeeally dark regardless. I can't find the actual color spec.

Filmmaker mode often results in a darker picture. Filmmaker Mode is not ideal for all content. Especially, since filmmaker mode disables all artificial post-processing effects.

Are there published specs? For film the correct color space and brightness are defined by DCI-P3 (regular TV is rec. 709 and web/old TV is sRGB)

The specifications are controlled through metadata, so the specs are automatically set. However, I couldn't find any concrete specifications for it
