It happens consistently and this is the only circumstance where the S90D starts on it's own. Possibly relevant is the fact that I use AnyNet+ for my external soundbar.
Any ideas, anyone?

LED and OLED TVsThat is strange; Thank you for sharing this concern with us, Rascal. To ensure I understand completely, are you saying the house generator starts up randomly? You think that since the AnyNet+ is enabled, it could be the reason your TV is turning on by itself? If this is the case, the first thing we could do is check the Anynet+ feature. To do this, navigate to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If this feature is disabled, we can try to perform a Power Cycle.
Unplug both the TV and the soundbar from the wall outlet for about 60 seconds. Plug them back in. This can clear temporary communication glitches.
Next, I recommend checking for Firmware Updates. If these general troubleshooting steps don't stop the behavior, the interaction might be a specific compatibility issue between the two products. We can look into specific model behaviors further if needed. Let us know if the AnyNet is turned on.

LED and OLED TVsThanks much for the response. To be clearer than I was (sorry about that) before:
The set up is that the Samsung S90D uses Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) to connect to a Sonos Beam soundbar. The Beam is always on as is my entire SONOS system.
The house generator doesn't start up randomly, it only starts when there is a power outage to the house. At that point there is a brief (just a minute or two) interruption to power before the generator is carrying the load. At that point, the S90D comes on (even though it was not on before the power outage). As expected, the "always on" Beam is on. The two components are happily carrying on together.
It seems to me that the main problem is that the S90D comes on after the power failure even when it was not on before. I only mentioned the Anynet+ in my second post because I saw it mentioned as a possible cause of such a problem. Firmware and software updates are current on S90D and Sonos.
Normally it's not a big deal - only disturbing if it happens in the middle of the night or when no one is home except my poor, over-anxious cat. I can just turn the TV off and unplug it when we leave on a trip.
But it's an interesting problem, don't you think?

Hello and thank you for the clarification, Rascal2. We would like to gather some information to assist you with this interesting concern as mentioned. Is the TV connected to a surge protector or is it directly plugged into the power outlet? We located this article for review https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10002365/.
You can also check your event logs on the TV to inquire if an application is causing the TV to turn on by itself with the following steps: Menu> Settings> All Settings> Support> About TV. When you are viewing the About TV information, scroll to the bottom of that page to review the TVs event log. Hope this helps, and please keep us updated on the TVs performance.
