Identical files, both ripped with MKV and then converted to MP4 using Handbrake H.264 AC3 720.
Same preset for all 6 seasons, season six, same template (handbrake prog), same audio, same video, made 11 days apart from the last rip, all will play except season 6 files. Screen shots of Codec info: from VLC. Everything is identical. Again one plays, the other doesn't.
Same rip, program, codec, file type, pc, SSD and folder.

Any suggestions? Samsung UHD Smart TV. (VLC codec info for each attached.)

All of a sudden, in 11 days, the tv doesn't recognize an identical file. This is beyond frustrating.
(see attached)
Thank you,
Andy

Im going to put this here... in case anyone else has the same issue....

So, after reading, I realized that the Samsung UHD TV I have has a 2TB read limit for a USB powered SSD.
The SSD I am using is 4TB.

The solution was to move all the files off the drive. Deallocate the 4TB and build out 2 separate partitions. On a PC this gives it comes up as different "drives". And it comes up as  two different 2 TB drives on the TV as well. So I have shows on one and movies on the other and the TV can fully read both now.

Just a heads up if anyone else has this issue. This will work on 6 and 8TB SSDs as well. Just partition it accordingly
