I recently bought a Samsung S95F and I love it, but every few days the shadows and black levels get really crushed and I need to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. Does anyone know why this issues happens? im not leaving the tv on all the time but like at least once a week I turn it on and as soon as a dark scene appears it just looks destroyed

LED and OLED TVsI have the same problem. The picture somehow looks overexposed or oversaturated because of it? In any case, details in the image are lost. While testing, I noticed that the "Movie" mode is not affected in my case.

LED and OLED TVsWow having the same issues here on my s95f. Holding the "Power on" button on the remote for a few seconds indeed fixes the image for a while, but this can't be listed as a permanant fix for a TV of this class.
Really hope Samsung comes up with something here!

LED and OLED TVsI had this issue to, in combination with other issues, one of which is it getting completely stuck after being on for a while, becoming completely unresponsive to any input. I had my board replaced under warranty, but later found out that the problem likely is/was the Samsung tv app (or whatever its called) having a memory leak. Since then I did not have my tv connected to the internet and had no problems since. Including the color problems, which i have not seen since. The only issue I currently am facing is that rarely but not never it seems to randomly restart, but this does not occur often. And that when pressing the off/standby button it occasionally decides to wake up without me doing anything after half a minute or so (but this might also be caused by some dodgy equipment i have connected....). Still its sad to say that mostly software appears to be riddled with issues. If any other brands had matt oled displays I would have gone with anything else based on this experience. But i love the matte display so much that I unwillingly put up with these issues... In the naive hope that at some point they fix all the issues in software...

LED and OLED TVsHey folks.
I have the same issue.
Only use the tv for streaming apps or ps5.
i contacted Samsung support within the 30 day purchase window which protects my consumer rights under the consumer protection act 2015 to report as faulty.
Theyโve asked for pics so will provide but sadly ill return the tv for full refund if they canโt address it

LED and OLED TVsJust bought my 77โ s95f and out of the box had those same colour and black issues.
It just looked awful, I thought the streaming quality was too poor and tv was too good, but it just didnโt seat right.
i have played with all settings but no fortune, then I read online to press the power button for 10s and that did the trick, now all is good. However I canโt get rid of the feeling that maybe something else is also wrong.
i hope Samsung will give us a software update asap, as of now i had the latest firmware and tv was only 2 days old.

LED and OLED TVsJust got my S90F so was wondering if it was a simple calibration issue. Really weird skin tones... hard to believe I hadn't noticed earlier. Sure enough, just long-pressing the remote control power does a restart and immediately fixes the issue. I'm on 1125. I already wall-mounted my screen so I really don't want to pull it down just to insert a USB key if I don't expect 1131 to fix the issue.

LED and OLED TVsFortunately, thereโs this workaround of unplugging the TV or holding the power button for 10 seconds. I literally spent a whole week going through the TV settings trying to find the solution.
On PS5, the colors were horribly washed out. In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, I couldnโt even distinguish the different shades of green in the grass anymore.
In movies, the hair looked strangely matte and the faces seemed edited with some kind of AI filter.
The dark areas looked dusty, as if there was a layer of ashes everywhere.

LED and OLED TVsIโve only experienced the black levels problem when the source is a PS5. And I was seeing it regularly like several times a week. When I turned off โHDR10+ GAMINGโ in the game settings Iโve not had it since - at least for a couple of weeks, so far. HDR10+ is not supported by PS5 and honestly I thought it wouldnโt make any difference but probably needs a bit more time before Iโm convinced.

LED and OLED TVsIs there any fix to this besides restarting the TV? I have an 83 inch and I am still in the warranty period I think Iโm totally going to send it back, this is terrible.
