recently using our NE595R0ABSR range cook surface. We turned the eye we were using to the OFF position, a loud POP noise was heard from the unit. the working eye turned off as expected, the HOT SURFACE light eventually turned off but the other cooksurface POWER ON light never turned off. tried to turn surface on and off, toggle other controls, etc. no change. eventually turned power off at breaker multiple times, let sit over night with no power, etc. so far same situation. no schematic i have been able to find nor controls diagram, etc. a 2013 unit that has served us well till now. efforts to try to enter diagnostic mode have been unsuccessful if even exists on this unit.
how can you diagnose infinite controls and isolate if any are the culprit before just firing the parts cannon?
