I have a 13 year old Kenmore Refrigerator with a Samsung Compressor and Invertor that are no longer manufactured. I cannot find an exact replacement invertor board but I found one whose part number is close. The one I need is DA41-00316D but I can only find DA41-00316C that is available. What is the difference between the two? Does anyone know what the C and the D even mean?

Kitchen and Family Hub@JasonSDetroit Typically the D would be a later board. They made some design change that wasn't in the C and manufactured a run of boards.

Kitchen and Family Hub@JasonSDetroit Sorry, I don't have any details on the difference between the boards. It could be the C would work just fine or it could be that the C is missing something critical that your refrigerator needs.

Kitchen and Family HubThanks for the responses. I have reached out to numerous people at Samsung through chat and they have been no help at all. I've asked to try and get my message to someone more technical who might be able to answer my questions but they either didn't understand or didn't want to take my issue further.
