Photos on Home Screen Blurry

All of a sudden the images on my Family Hub Fridge home screen are slightly blurry.

I deleted my home screen contents and started over and rebooted Family hub.

If i view an image in the gallery its razor sharp.

If i add any image to the home acreen and enlarge it by pinching & expanding it (even slightly) it loses its sharpness. What the heck?

The image size & resolution is high, so it isnt like im making it bigger than it's native size.

Plus when viewing it in the gallery its sharp.

What gives? Can someone else try this and see if you get the same result by adding any image to the home screen ? Thanks!
