Kitchen and Family HubThe glass shelf unit above the vegetable crisper cannot be cleaned. Juice and a few crumbs have gotten trapped between the glass and the plastic frame. There is no way to remove the glass from the frame for cleaning. All the tutorials are for other models and the product user guide completely skips over this shelf entirely. The Samsung team I have spoke to so far is clueless and just keeps sending me instructions for other models. There are no clips to release the glass and no instructions. In the meantime, it is mold and salmonella waiting to happen. I have only had the unit for 2 months and I can't fathom years with no way to clean the shelf. This is disgusting and frankly it is a health hazard. Samsung needs to recall this shelf and replace with something functional. Model

Kitchen and Family HubI was able to get it to pop out, but now I cannot get it back in. I had been running hot water on glass and plastic trying to flush out the meat juice.
Issue is now I cannot get it back in. Did you find any other solution?

Kitchen and Family HubSame Issue Here. I have had the fridge less than 2 months. There are a few crumbs and juice that sunk in between the glass and the plastic frame. It is salmonella waiting to happen. I cannot believe I am struggling with this. This is a major design flaw. And Samsung has not responded to my concerns at all. They offered to send me a replacement shelf, but that won't fix anything because there is no way to remove the glass for cleaning. What a major oversight.

Kitchen and Family HubTalk to a Samsung rep and they told me you can’t remove that shelf. My wife and I used baking soda and white vinegar and basically rotated the glass up and down with our hands and poured the solution inside the cracks, and we continue the process until all the foreign fluid was removed. I think that may be the only solution to this problem.

Kitchen and Family HubSamsung able to help? I have a Bespoke fridge as well and I am able to remove the shelf itself, but I cannot figure a way to remove the glass in order to clean the "meat juice" that spilled.

Kitchen and Family HubSo I was able to pull the glass out by pulling and prying it away at the rear of the shelf. It doesn’t go in very deep there. The deep slot is really in the front where the silver trim is. I think by warming it up with hot water made it a little easier for me to kind of bend the plastic enough to release the glass from the rear groove. I think somebody before said they were able to do it and I have to agree, It was difficult getting it back in. It takes quite a bit of finesse, but no tools necessary. I used hot water again to loosen the plastic up again. So glad I got that chicken juice out from underneath it.

Kitchen and Family HubI was able to use a bottle straw cleaner to get in between the glass and the plastic part in the middle and that worked, but what an annoying oversight. UGH
