Kitchen and Family HubThe glass shelf unit above the vegetable crisper cannot be cleaned. Juice and a few crumbs have gotten trapped between the glass and the plastic frame. There is no way to remove the glass from the frame for cleaning. All the tutorials are for other models and the product user guide completely skips over this shelf entirely. The Samsung team I have spoke to so far is clueless and just keeps sending me instructions for other models. There are no clips to release the glass and no instructions. In the meantime, it is mold and salmonella waiting to happen. I have only had the unit for 2 months and I can't fathom years with no way to clean the shelf. This is disgusting and frankly it is a health hazard. Samsung needs to recall this shelf and replace with something functional. Model

Kitchen and Family HubDo you have any ideas on how to get the glass off the top shelf? I have stuff spilled under there as well and need to get that cleaned. When you take it out of the fridge and flip it over you can see it all pooled under neath.

Kitchen and Family HubHope this works for some, but our Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator RF23BB8600QL, purchased two months ago, does NOT have the release clips under the metal trim. Samsung's advice is "Certain models have a glass shelf that does not have retainer clips for removing the glass from the shelf. If food debris, crumbs, or stains get trapped between the glass and plastic frame on this type of shelf, soak it in a water/bleach solution. If this does not clean the shelf enough, the shelf will have to be replaced, since the glass is not made to separate from the frame on these models and attempting to do so could result in physical damage to the shelf" (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00063107/). Unacceptable for a top-level refrigerator. In addition, a contradiction in our owner's manual to the online Samsung "bleach" advice, states: "Cleaning: Interior and Exterior: Warning, Do not use benzene, thinner, home/car detergent, or Clorox to clean the refrigerator. They may damage the surface of the refrigerator and cause a fire" (page 30). Do not purchase this model if you value a pristine environment for food storage.

Kitchen and Family HubI ended up getting it without removing the bar. I just took a screw driver and pried the silver strip just over the lip. It takes a small amount of force to get it over the lip on each end. The rest of the strip pops off easily. From there you have to bend the plastic backwards and push up on the glass. That was more difficult but doable. What a PIA. And other than you guys I could find nothing to help get it off. Thank you!!

Kitchen and Family HubThis is the dumbest design ever!!! If they are going to make the glass unable to be removed then grime, germs, bacteria, and other harmful items should be able to get down in there, it should have been sealed with that intention and not just a piece of glass resting on a plastic frame. This is definitely grounds for a recall, what is samsung waiting on, someone's family to start a lawsuit because their loved ones or child got salmonella or some other kind of poisoning because they poorly designed this shelving unit??? Come on man, Samsung your better than this.

Kitchen and Family HubI definitely recommend getting plastic automotive trim removal tools. I had to start removing the glass from one side, got to the middle, then had to come from the other side to finish removing the glass. No need to remove the black metal stiffener on the bottom. It can be a little tricky getting the gray/silver plastic strip started, but one you do, it goes really quick, with little force needed.

Kitchen and Family HubHello!
I spilled some oil on the glass shelf on top of the crisp drawer. I’d like to move glass out of the glass shelf to clean it. I couldn’t find any online tutorials on how to pop the glass out of the shelf. All the current videos are related to other models of Samsung. Can anyone help me please? Thank you so much!
See below pictures.

Kitchen and Family HubI am having the same issue. something is spill underneath the glass. I found one thing on u tube to pull the back of the shelf down and pop the glass out. It is very difficult and I am afraid to break that glass. There has to be an easier way but I am not seeing anything on the internet for the Bespoke refrigerators.
