I just installed Samsung dishwasher model number DW80B7071US/AA I connected it to smart things app but my biggest problem is that I can’t get the dishwasher to start from the app unless I physically go to the dishwasher push Smart Control. Then go to the app and I can’t start the dishwasher. The problem is I have to do that each time I want to start the dishwasher.
Not familiar with your specific model, but just did a little bit of research, and it looks like Samsung requires a physical button press each time before using the app to schedule a wash as a safety feature. I wouldn't think this should be too much of an inconvenience, given the fact that you already have to physically interact with the dishwasher (loading it) prior to running it.
