Kitchen and Family HubDo you use the Wi-Fi function on Samsung appliances (including dishwashers)? Is it really worth it? I can't make up my mind, I've never used this feature before. The delayed start was enough for me.

Kitchen and Family Hub@thissattion_12 The Smartthings integration for the Samsung dish washer is handy for many things. Probably the top items for us is checking where in the cycle the wash currently is and checking if it is time to run the auto clean cycle. Also the notification when the dish washer is complete is very handy.

Kitchen and Family HubIt sounds really convenient, but I'm not sure it's important for me to know which stage of the wash is which.

Kitchen and Family HubFor a dishwasher, not. For laundry yes. If you ever lived in multi-story house, you would understand. I assume the app would also inform one of things like washer imbalance or other issue. In a multi-story dwelling, one does not always hear the alarm buzzer. I have a microwave (not a Samsung) that has wi-fi connectivity and an app, but so far, I haven't found it practical. I had hoped it would inform me when the cooking was done as the chimes are too low to hear, even if I was in the next room. But it does not do that. The only thing the connectivity accomplishes, is if I have a power interruption, it keeps my clock set to the correct time because it gets the time from my router. I guess you would have to decide on any individual appliance whether the connectivity is a benefit to you.

Kitchen and Family HubI imagine it would be nice to be notified when the laundry's done, especially if you are in a two or 3 story house and your appliances are on a different level than you are.
