Samsung Q990D unresponsive after 1020 firmware update

Since the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.

Seems like quite a few people with the issue

The service and communication at Samsung is really poor. If only they would keep us updated on the status and whether they are working on it.

Same problem here. Finland and q990d. Yesterday was working just fine. Now stuck on hdmi2.

Posted yesterday, already approaching 6K views.  You think Samsung would be throwing a lot of resources on this topic to try and resolve it quickly.  Considering this is their top of the line soundbar, with a new one right around the corner, they'd want to make sure potential customers don't have any concerns about Samsung support taking something like this seriously and responding quickly.

It`s a news item on Tweakers.net (Dutch site) at the moment, possibly this rise the pressure to solve without returning a bit more.

I have the same issues only had the bar for 2 weeks started off stuck on WiFi disconnected now tv earc unable to do anything with it such a disappointment

Happening to me as well.  Not responsive.  Couldn't reset.   Not sure what to do now.

do i try to exchange? Idk how they could fix it with another update if this wont even connect to wifi or anything anymore. any advice?
