I have my Nexigo Aurora projector connected through the eARC port to the Q990D soundbar with HDMI. I then have my nvidia shield plugged into hdmi 2 and my laptop in hdmi 3 of my projector. This set up works fine when it is working. However, when I turn off my set up and turn it back on, there is zero sound regardless of which device I'm using. The soundbar is responsive but does not make any sound regardless of how long it is playing.
If I power cycle the soundbar or change audio input to direct and back to eARC it'll start working again on both hdmi inputs until I turn the system off again. I have tried to turn off the soundbar then power on the projector but that doesn't work so I don't think it's a sleep issue. Factory reset does not fix this issue.
Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it? Because it's very frustrating to have to turn on my projector, manually turn off my soundbar, turn my soundbar on, watch as the hdmi inputs change and my nvidia shield errors out of whatever I'm watching, then go back into the streaming service to watch TV. This should not be happening on such an expensive soundbar system.
