I have a 65"QLED Samsung (brand new) qn65q60dafxza and a Samsung sound bar HW-Q990D sep rears and sub. Rears have side and up fire too. I have the soundbar plugged via $$$ hdmi eARC with any network on and hdmi eARC set to auto (not pcm) but when I watch the Samsung tv network (advertised in 5.1, 7.1 and or atmos and everything else) all I get is dolby stereo PCM. When switch to Netflix or hulu or Disney I get multi channel pcm or atmos. Turn eARC from auto to off and I get doulby digital plus or atmos on everything yet still no surround on Samsung tv network (but it says dolby digital plus) pass-through is not available no matter what I do. It's greyed out. Any help š

Home TheaterThe "Passthrough" option is typically only available when the audio source is an external device connected via HDMI. When using built-in TV apps like Samsung TV Plus, the audio is processed internally by the TV, and passthrough options are often greyed out.
