Intermittent connection between my HW-800T soundbar & EU75AU9000KXXU tv

I'm currently experiencing an intermittent loss of connection between my HW-800T soundbar & EU75AU9000KXXU tv.

Every few minutes the sound will stop for a second or two then resume.

I'm using the HDMI eARC input.

I've just played the sound through the TV only and through wireless headphones and there is no loss of sound. 

I've also reset the soundbar and this doesn't help.

Any suggestions please? It has been working fine for a year or so, but has just started doing this.
