Galaxy WatchI've had my Galaxy Watch 7 for a week and the weather complication never updates unless I manually refresh the weather in the weather app on my watch. I never had this issue on my Galaxy Watch 6 so this must be a new bug with One UI 6.
If it helps I have location permission set to always on for both the weather app on my watch and my wearable app on my phone. I have automatic refreshing set to every hour. I'm using this watch with a Google Pixel 8 so I wonder if this bug is only with non Galaxy phones as it doesn't seem widely reported.

Galaxy WatchSame issues.
Phone: Pixel 9a
Watch: Galaxy Watch 7
Symptoms:
- There are NO application options for the weather app - not on the phone or on the watch.
- When I tap "add location" the watch says to complete on the phone, but no dialogue opens on the phone
- The watch face continues to revert to celsius (I was able to change it before, but not in the last couple of weeks, at least)

Galaxy WatchJust fixed this problem.
1. Open the Samsung weather app on watch.
2. Scroll to bottom and tap settings.
3. Tap on Local Weather.
4. Unset Agree and then set Agree. Answer the questions.
This got my watch to pick up my current location. Hopefully when I move it will update.

Galaxy WatchI have tried that, it does not work for me on One UI 8 on Watch Ultra 2024. The Samsung weather app is refusing to automatically update the weather and the watch has BT, WiFi and cellular. There used to be a setting where you could set it to update several times a day. Now there is no setting, whatever automation is there doesn't seem to work and the only option is to tap "Update" manually at the bottom of the weather app. VERY annoying.

Galaxy WatchThis watch face does not update the temperature unless I restart the watch. Then it changes it to the correct temperature, but no longer updates until the watch is restarted.
This same watch face works correctly on my 8 Classic, and all other watch faces work correctly on my watch 8, so all the settings are correct. There seems to be an issue with the watch face itself.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Can someone test it in the US? It is a stock watch face.

Galaxy WatchAfter further investigation, both the 8 and Classic do not update, and it affects all watch faces.

Galaxy WatchIt has nothing to do specifically with the face. It's a problem with the weather app.

Galaxy WatchThe app itself also doesn't auto-update. It's not just the complication. The app requires clicking manual update and then the complication displays up-to-date information. The app used to have a setting on how often to update the weather. This setting is also gone.

a week ago in
Galaxy WatchWatch 5 pro stopped updating weather complication/app automatically a few months ago, and now doesn't update at all, even manually. Factory reset watch, cleared recovery cache, uninstalled Samsumg Wear and Watch Manager 5 from phone and reinstalled, nothing works.
Using Pixel 9 Pro, always loved watch 5, but now considering Pixel watch... thanks Samsung
