Watch7 manager problems

Galaxy Watch
Wearable app works with my Galaxy Buds Live and Samsung Galaxy S22 + phone. However new Galaxy Watch7 does not connect to my phone. Stays between around 80-90% on the "Getting ready to connect " screen...then the phone screen switches to "scanning for devices to add..." then Watch says "connection failed. Try again ". I've reset Watch7 and reinstalled Wearable app, restart phone multiple times to no avail, endless cycle...any solutions?

Is your S22+ running the latest, up to date software, One UI 6.1.1, Android 14 and the latest version of the Wearable app? If not, that could be the reason you are having the problem.
