Watch Ultra - last update took out remote connection & silenced notifications

After the last update, I realized that my remote connection had stopped working and my notifications were now silent. I found a couple of posts that had individual issues after the update but no one that had both happen. 

Checking settings, clearing cache for the Wearables app, resetting the phone & watch, and clearing data/removing watch from Wearables all did not help either the notification or remote connection issues.

I cleared the data from the Wearables app, deleted Wearables, removed the watch from Bluetooth connections, & then reset the watch. I rebooted the phone and reinstalled Wearables. Installed the watch as a new device and did not restore from any backup. This restored notifications, and they will now vibrate or ring based on the watch's settings. However, it has not fixed my remote connection issue, and I still cannot get the phone & watch to connect either over wifi or cellular.  I've tried this twice, the 2nd time keeping the wifi off to see if that made a difference in setting up the watch.

Does anyone have a suggestion of what I might be missing or something else to try?

Thank you for reaching out.  I can certainly understand the importance of being able to use all the features on your Galaxy Watch Ultra. In order to better assist you is your watch Bluetooth or LTE?

It is LTE and has service. I have tried making a remote connection on both LTE and wifi and it no longer connects on either.

Thank you for that information. As your watch is an LTE watch, the LTE aspect functions similar to how remote connection works, what part of the feature are you wishing to use differently?

Yes, the LTE functions to provide access but because the remote connection doesn't work now, I no longer get any notifications or calls that come into the phone until the phone/watch become connected by Bluetooth again.

Thank you for following up. So just to clarify, do you have number sharing or number sync set up on your watch?

 

Do you have a mobile plan set up on your watch Ultra?

Yes, I have a mobile plan with Verizon. I believe they call it number sharing which I also have. This all worked fine up until that last update and nothing seems to restore the remote connection.

Hi! I also have Galaxy Watch Ultra LTE with S25 ultra. I'm trying to set up a remote connection, but it's not working! I had it working with a Watch 7 without LTE. Did you find a solution? Did it work before the last update? Thanks!
