Watch was on the counter while I receive a notification for system update on my Watch Ultra 7 to Oui8, less than 30 minutes ago.

Clicked to update, so it will do it while I was getting ready to go do errands.
Update finished, put my watch on...two minutes later The watch is overheating.
It went to airplane mode to cool down. Took it off my wrist...10 minutes later it says watch had cooled down... put it back on and then... Surprise, your  watch is overheating again after 5 minutes of use.
I'm still waiting for the fix and/or a response from Samsung regarding the battery drainage issue on my S24 Ultra phone after it updated to OUi7 which it has to be charge twice a day even on power saving , and now this?
Is this a joke?

@userODJ64WAxJ8 Updated my GW Ultra (2024) to UI 8 some time last week. It has been working great and it seems like the battery is lasting longer.

Have you tried rebooting the watch?

Have you tried clearing the watch's device partition?

Have you tried resetting the watch?

Hi thank you for the input, I'll reboot the watch now and then I'll clear the dp.
Thank you again. I'll update this post then.

Instructions for wiping cache partition on the watch.

When the screen goes black, that's when you start tapping the top button.1753737085464.jpg

Reboot and also clear cache partition. See if that helps.

Galaxy Watch 6, ONE UI 6, watch suddenly told me that it was shutting down to cool down. Took it off my wrist and it was cold on both face and back. I took it off and let it sit for a few minutes. Turned it back on. Changing to a less processor intensive face took several restarts as it kept "overheating"
Finally got the face changed via the Wearable app on my phone.
Rebooted and cleared the cache.
Still says it's overheating....

Any resolution? I just updated my Watch Ultra and last night while sleeping got an alert about the temperature. I have never seen this alert since I bought it.
