Just because it's the original charger does not mean it's not defective in some way.  Do you have it plugged into an outlet with USB ports or a charging block?  It may be the charging block or outlet itself that's defective. Make sure the back of your watch is clean of skin oils and cells. If that does not help, buy another charger and see if that improves the situation.

I agree with him the charging is garbage with these new watches just because they feel like everybody is a fitness freak so they had the turn their SmartWatches into basically fitness watches now with these ungodly large bumps on the bottom side where all of the unnecessary for most people sensors are so that they can track all this stuff that you know three out of every 10 people will maybe track and then on top of that they've designed it with these lugs that also don't allow it to really sit properly on anything let alone your wrist and it really does become a problem with trying to find a decent charger I had to buy an aftermarket charger stand that'll charge a watch and a phone and the headphones that had a curve deep enough that allowed the watch to sit on it properly and charge.

Samsung really needs to go back to making their two different Renditions they're active models and then their regular classic models because not everybody wants and or uses Health features I personally don't use them at all and tend to go into my watch with bugjeager and literally delete and or disable every single fitness app and everything related to it in fact if it wasn't for the fact that I have a Samsung phone and use the watches for the calls and blah blah blah that I need it for I'd be going back to a OnePlus watch or something like the Asus zenwatch 3 that was just a SmartWatch with like no Fitness features at all nothing not even a sensor for a heart rate monitor.

Trying to be like apple is continuously ruining Samsung year after year instead of them innovating and being individual like they used to be they now just are the shadow.

Because of the way that they've made these dumb new watches you can't even use the reverse wireless charging on your phone that they've raved about and had such a big selling point and really was made for that reason to charge your phone and your headphones on the back of your device so that you didn't have to carry around multiple cables now we're back to multiple cables because ....well Samsung

I'm very sorry to inform you of this, but 99% of the people who buy smart watches buy them specifically for the health features.  The other 1% just want a watch that will give them notifications and make some calls or whatever the heck they think the watch will do for them. Without the sensors, they may as well just buy a Timex and be done with it.  My watch sits perfectly well on not only it's original charging puck, but the aftermarket ones I use as well. I haven't noticed any difficulty with it sitting face up on a desk or table when I'm not wearing it, so I don't know what you are talking about.

You seem very dissatisfied with your watch.  I assume you knew its features before purchase, yet you bought it anyway.  Please, if you are so dissatisfied with your watch that you used an app to disable everything, you are certainly not using what you paid for, go back to your Zenwatch.
