Both my wife and I's Watch 7 LTE devices got the January update and it has killed the bluetooth connection.  It now wants us to transfer the watch to the new phone (the S24 Ultras we were already using) or to reset the device and connect to the phones.  The phone will detect the watch but fails when pairing like the bluetooth is just really unstable.  I have tried multiple reboots of the phone and watch.  I have tried initiating the connection from the watch to the phone and vice versa.  Any ideas?  Google search show's it's an issue but no solutions so far.

Try wiping cache partition on the watch first, instructions in the photo.

I have no problems with the update!1738356372705.jpg

I have the same issue with my 7 Ultra.  this is the second time this has happened to me in the last 2 months.   I woke up this morning and found the watch disconnected.  Just wiped the cache but that did not work. 😞

Same with me. When you watch update and me getting the s25 ultra was around the same time so I didn't know whether to attribute it to the watch or the phone. Sounds like it might be the watch update.

So I wound up resetting the watch. Had forgotten that you can leave the cellular plan on the watch during a reset which eliminated my issue with having to call Verizon. During setup I was able to restore a backup so all my stuff was back on there. So in the end it wasn't too bad just a little aggravating. Since doing the reset everything has been fine. Battery life may actually be better as well but a couple more days to tell on that.
