Galaxy WatchI don't know what I'm looking at in your screenshots. You don't show what settings you are in. In relation to my other posts, I did not realize that I was not responding to you, the OP, and the other user did not bother to correct me.
I have a Watch 7 running OnUI8.0 and the Wear app version 2.2.65.25093061. You are obviously using a different version of the wearable app and/or the Watch5 manager is different than the Watch7 manager. These are my advanced settings in the Wear App and on my watch. Option to remove the notification indicator is in the advanced settings of the *notifications*. Watch settings/notifications/advanced settings.

Galaxy WatchI see, wearable is from the play store/latest, same with watch 5, I'm guessing it's removed from watch 5 plugin for some reason.
Running
Wearable 2.2.65.25093061
Galaxy Watch5 Manager 2.2.12.25110651

Galaxy WatchSo, not a Samsung phone. That is likely why you don't have the same settings screen in the wear app. I believe they have different versions and settings for non-Samsung devices. However, the settings to remove the notification icon from the watch face should still be in the advanced settings of the notifications settings and the watch should still have the hide after 2 seconds setting. The screen shot you put up looks identical to the old settings screen in Android 14.
Samsung watches are made to best perform within the Samsung ecosystem.
