I noticed not only do most watchfaces use a sweeping seconds hand, the ticking sound is very fast/only seems to work for sweeping. My mechanical regular non smartwatch has a very soothing/slower ticking.
On top of this my watchfaces all have permanent icons on them breaking the immersion and blocking the dates...e.t.c for power saving, what gives??
Those icons are called complications. You can choose a watchface wirhout complications. I don't see how they ruin anything, the are useful tools - widgets, and you can choose which ones you want on most faces. As for the tickung sound on the sweeping second hand, you can turn the sound off, so you don't have to worry about hiw fast it sounds. A second is a second, a defined perid of time, and the second hand is not going to tick faster than that unit of time.
Frankly it sounds like you want a mechanical watch with smart features. There is only so much you can do with an OLED display. Have you considered a hybrid watch?
I was expecting it to be the best of both worlds, might look into hybrid but very upsetting there's no like good lock or just more customization settings like the samsung phones.
The icons i'm referring to are the power saving and disconnected from phone system icons, there Is no more option to hide them after two seconds like on my previous galaxy watch.
I like the complications and the smart features, I just don't like those little mini icons blocking the date and making the watch look not as real.
If you apply the minimalist watch face that Samsung comes with it has a very slow relaxing tick like most normal watches, just would like if this was an option like complications as the seconds hand does not have to be a sweeping motion/tick constantly.
If you aren't satisfied with the Samsung faces, you can scroll to the bottom of the watch faces in the Wear app. You have access to all third party faces in the play store. It's possible some of those may better accommodate your wants.
Will check it out or maybe make a similar in WFS, kinda on the shelf like galaxy phones have good lock/good guardian and allow for so much more tweaking.
I'm like I just wanna see the watch face with complications and time/date not the power saving icons or phone disconnected, then just that relaxing tick noise to help calm down xD
Thank you for taking the time to entertain the feature request though/I guess I'll look into Pixel watches and see if they're as clowned out lol.
I like the solar Garmin but I need wear os/Android so it's frustrating.
