Ugly doesn't begin to describe this abomination!

Oh well, it is what it is, I will just have to get use to it. I am not going to ask how do I roll back. I am not going to say it was forced upon me. I understand TOS . It's Samsung's right to make it ugly! LOL!

I know it has only been a day, battery life has been cut in half. I did uninstall the Gemini update, and will not update it. I don't need Gemini on my watch, it's a battery hog.

When the update hits my watch you will have to tell me how to disable Gemini.  Is it like the phone, where it takes over the power button, or can I just ignore it the way I do Google Assistant and Bixby?  Also, the tiles don't look so bad.

You can ignore it . Don't update it on your 7. You will be good.

I have a choice not to update on the watch?  Is it not mandatory, like the phone? What if there are new features in OneUI8 that I want to use?  Although, if I can't use any of the new health features, there would really be no point in updating.

No, you have to update. If you never activate Gemini, you are all good. I thought I was going to enjoy it on my watch, I didn't.

Just so I understand, they didn't do Gemini like the did with the phone - automatically attach it to the power button?  So, If I don't tap the Gemini icon and go through the setup options, it will just take up space on my watch but not do anything?  I don't use any of the assistants on either the phone or the watch.  I am a big fan of routines, though, and I wish they had added them to the watch.

Long press is still power off, both buttons quick is s reen shot, both buttons ongoing press is reboot.

All this Google stuff is what is killing peoples batteries. You can't really put Google stuff in deep sleep.
