Samsung Wallet is showing no cards available to add to Galaxy Watch 8 Classic

Has anyone experienced an issue where Samsung Wallet keeps reverting back to Samsung Pay on the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic after going through the setup on the phone?

 
This makes me unable to use the pay functionality on the watch because Samsung Pay isn't available anymore so nothing happens when I try to open the app as it just tells me to do the setup again on the phone which does nothing.

Thank you for that information. So just to clarify you have Samsung Pay on your watch is that correct? Please know that Samsung Wallet is only available on the phone and Samsung Pay would be on the watch. When you click on pay on your watch it says to set up the app on your phone again is that correct?

 

Can you please provide me with any pictures of the symptoms you are experiencing with the watch?

 

Have you verified the wearables app is up-to-date on your Fold 5?

 

Have you verified the software on our watch is up-to-date?

 

Do you have Samsung Wallet set up on your phone?

Yes that's correct. I have Samsung Wallet set up with my card on my Z Fold 5 and I also see Samsung Pay on my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. However, each time I open up Samsung Pay on the wach it asks me to setup the app and keeps saying to add a card on the phone even though I have my card added in Samsung Wallet under payments. I do have the latest software on both as I usually make sure that I keep everything up to date.

Tap to pay on my Galaxy watch 4 classic LTE and my brother's Watch 7 LTE works seamlessly with non samsung phones. I upgraded to the Watch 8 Bluetooth and found out that there is no option for the Samsung Pay in the Wearable app. As I read above, Samsung somehow stopped the support of Samsung wallet from Watch 8 Only? Or is it supported only in LTE variant. Can someone with watch 8 LTE and non-samsung phone confirm that they can also not add cards ?
