Samsung Health Incorrectly Reports Goals Have Been Reached

I've been setting weight loss goals in the Samsung Health app for the past month or so and it always tells me my goals have been reached and to set new goals before my goals have actually been reached. For example, last week I set a 5lb weight loss goal, and yesterday, after I had lost about 2.8lbs it told me "Goals Reached!"

I've experienced this with both weight loss goals and body fat %.

I'm using a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for measurements.

I have uninstalled an reinstalled the app and I am starting to get a bit frustrated. Setting goals is really motivational to me, and highly discouraging when it doesn't work properly.

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. I can certainly understand your concern with your target goals showing completed early, and I would be happy to look into this further for you. The first step I would recommend is clear the cache for the Samsung Health app and the Galaxy wearables app. Go to settings > apps > tap on one of the apps > tap on storage and clear the cache.

If you have tried clearing the cache, the piece of troubleshooting I would try is to uninstall and re-install the Samsung Health app.

If you have tried both methods of troubleshooting and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend reaching out to our Samsung Health team directly using the number provided in this link: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Samsung-Support-Acknowledgement/td-p/2...

For international members please reach out to a support team in your area using the following link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html
