Galaxy WatchI am at a loss as to how to track elevation change for walks and hikes using Samsung Health exercise data. When I go into the detailed data for "Walking" or "Hiking" I see current elevation. How can I include that parameter in my walking and hiking summary data ? I live in a mountain community, so this is important to my exercise routines, which are rarely level!

Galaxy Watch@wildplaces I see charts for both manually triggered activity and automatically triggered activity. Only the manually triggered activity has elevation.

Galaxy Watch@wildplaces In Samsung Health, click on Workout history. You will see each activity listed. Both manually and automatically recorded events.

Galaxy WatchWhen I manually switch on the specific activity (e.g. walking) then the Samsung Health app does show a figure for elevation gain. Difficult to tell right now whether that is the difference between maximum and minimum elevation, because my daily walks are mostly on a mountain road with all downhill or all uphill in either direction. Once I am able to test it on a trail with ups and downs, then I will have a better sense of what data that parameter is displaying. Interestingly, the automatic exercise data does not recognize the number of floors up and down during the day (shjows 0, when I know I've ascended/desecended a floor at least 5-6 times daily, usually more frequently). Stay tuned...
