Not getting AFIB notifications

Okay, my Watch 8 is actually recognizing my AFIB and when I go into the Health Monitor on my phone, it shows it as being identified, but I am not getting any notification on my phone or watch.   I had the same problem on my Watch 6 and I set up my Watch 8 as a new watch and am still not getting notified.  I have had it long enough to recognize the symptoms, but I find it strange that it won't notify me.     I have done complete factory resets on both my phone and watch, turned the notifications off and on again, and nothing works.

Have you checked the settings to make sure the notifications are turned an and the slider for irregular heart rhythm is on?  Sometimes updates may turn them off.  Also, make sure notifications for the health monitor are turned on on the watch.  Also make sure that notifications for heart rate in the health app are turned on (for this you have to have notification categories turned on), and go to the heart rate tile in the health app and tap the dot menu and select advanced measurement and choose, measure continually and set HR alerts for low and high rates.

I thought that Samsung Health Monitor notifications were enough. I'll try turning on Samsung Health notifications and see if that works.  I didn't want the unnecessary stuff from Samsung Health.

If you have notification categories turned on, you only get the notifications you select. If you still don't get the notifications, put in an error report.
