Google play store...

Does the google play store need to be constantly running in the background of my galaxy watch ultra?!?!?! Someone please reply, I feel like it running 24/7 will drain my battery super fast

It shouldn't be running 24 7 it does it's update checks daily and what not to think that would be minimal time wise

It says it has 18 hours of running in the background...

Check the settings maybe set to not auto update or only update on wifi that would be my first guess to culprit

Its already set to update only on wifi

@StrawHat95 Have you tried restarting your Watch Ultra? 

When I look at Wearable app -> Watch settings -> Battery the Google Play store doesn't even make the list. And the item at the bottom of the list is 0.2%.

Mine is at 2% battery consumption

I think I fixed it!! You have to turn off auto update through wifi
