Basically I went on a ride at an amusement park and I didn't know I could get splashed that much at that ride. It ended up splashing my watch and the USB port on my s24 ultra. I dried it off with my shirt, but people have been telling me to rinse it with water. Should I do that? It's been a couple of hours since it happened
Hello, depending on your watch some have a feature where it can eject water trapped inside it. As for the s24 ultra, do not rinse it. Keep it away from moisture. I Suggest a Q tip and gently swabbing the port.
Never rinse your phone with water. Period. The watch is made to endure a swimming workout, so I doubt being spashed briefly with chlorinated water will harm it. Just wipe it thoroughly with a microfiber cloth, and it will be fine. Do not charge your phone by USB for several days. If you have silica gel packs, put the phone in a paper bag with a pack or two over night, or use uncooked rice.
No, your fine. My watch and phone have been in many pools. Fyi, your tap water likely has chlorine and other chemicals in it. Just dry out best you can, use the water lock option in watch to remove any water from the speaker, suck out usb port with a vacuum or sit it in rice for a few hours. Otherwise, youll be fine. ๐๐ป
