Since the new update, my watch is basically unusable. My tiles are gone, and it keeps telling me to add tiles—even though I already did. Nothing shows up. It takes forever just to scroll left. My apps are missing, and I can’t even scroll up anymore. I cleared the cache and rebooted it, but that didn’t help at all. Scrolling right to see notifications barely works, and when it does, the notifications don’t even appear. And when anything does show up, it’s Gemini—which I don’t want at all. The watch is now painfully slow—slower than a sloth. What’s the point of having it if I can’t access anything on it?
Looks like something went wrong with the update process on your watch. I have a watch 6 classic and the update did not cause these issues (thankfully!). I did clear the system cache after the update.
If you purchased the watch less than a year ago and it is still under warranty, taking it to a service center may be an option. If there are no other responses with possible ideas to try, the last option may be to reset your watch to factory settings and hope there is a backup which it can restore from.
If your update somehow got corrupted, you can try the following actions before resorting to repair.
1) Clear the watch cache partition. This will clear out any leftover temporary files that may be hanging things up. If that does not solve the issue, your only option is
2) Factory reset the watch and then restore your backup.
But see that's the thing after all these Renditions we shouldn't be having these basic garbage issues.. Samsung watches have basically sucked since the gear S3
