So I've had the galaxy watch 5 pro since launch. I am a DIYer so I decided to replace the battery. I got a new battery and installed it with any issues. The battery had 30% charge on it so I decided to charge it to full. Took the charge with no issues. Used the watch until the battery was almost depleted. When I put it on the charger it said charging paused watch needs to warm up. Tried several things with no change. So I opened it back up and put the old battery back in it. Same message. I'm using the puck charger and a 15w pd Samsung wall adapter. Its not those causing it because my watch 4 classic and my wife watch active 2 charge fine. Any ideas on what the problem is and how yo fix it?
You did something when you tried to take matters into your own hands and be a DIYer. I suggest you now take that watch to an authorized Samsung service center.
I mean I could have there is a ribbon cable that is for the heartrate sensor and a ribbon cable for the buttons. The morher board comes off then the battery comes out. Its a pretty straight forward repair.
