Galaxy WatchAs most of you know the Google pixel 10 was released today with Android 16 With QPR 1 and I just wanted to let everyone know that as it is right now The Galaxy watch 8 Does NOT work with Pixel 10 and Android 16 at all.
I tried to speak with Official support chat today and that was 100% a complete waste of time. the support rep was just reading me Auto replies on how to pair devices with bluetooth.
I hope someone at Samsung will see this and please forward this to someone that can get the Dev's to take a look at what's going on

Galaxy WatchSame thing, Galaxy Watch Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Luckily I have my 5 Pro until there is a fix.

Galaxy WatchI just spoke with Google support and as you would expect they started with routine troubleshooting and the rep said she was not familiar with the problem. I politely stopped that process and listed all of the things I had done (a lot). I said this was definitely an issue for many people and could she check with her team to see if anyone else knew about it. She came back and said it was a known issue and it has already been escalated to the dev team. She said I will get an update via email when there is a resolution.
It would be great if others also contacted Google so they get a sense of the magnitude of the problem.

Galaxy WatchI still have my Pixel 9, so after many failed attempts to connect my Ultra to the Pixel 10 I reinstalled my Ultra on the 9 and it went perfectly. This was after numerous steps on the Ultra including clearing the cache and also doing a factory reset. On the Pixel 10 I cleared the cache on the Wear app and also uninstalled and reinstalled the Wear app. When I completed the re-installation on the 9 I was able to restore from a backup (Smart Switch does the backups). That doesn't clarify whether this is a Google or Samsung issue but it does confirm that it's a Pixel 10 series problem.

Galaxy WatchI'll add the me too on this. I wish I'd seen this thread four hours ago. Pixel 10 Pro and Galaxy watch Ultra.
Pixel 3 45mm ordered as a stop gap.
Is this a Google or Samsung issue?

Galaxy WatchI am on support chat with google right now and i don't have a good feeling about this
Update: Google Support was a complete waste of time and probably the worst support I have ever had.
I was transferred to a Hardware support specialist who basically said they are only trained for Pixel Buds and Pixel Watch, and that I had to speak with Samsung support because this is Samsung's problem. I feel like all hope is lost

Galaxy Watch😂what a great brand ambassador. Samsung designs their products to be compatible with Android devices. Yes there are many companies that produce android phones - so in no way is this directly a Samsung issue, but even though this is a problem with the Pixel - for less technical users they will attribute blame/frustrations on both Samsung and Google. In no way is your response helping to maintain Samsungs brand image .
I doubt Samsung would support your views of "Hey if you don't own a Samsung phone don't buy our products, and if you do good luck". Samsung represents a relatively small percentage of the overall Android market. Obviously they want/intend for other phone companies to use their peripheral devices 🤣
