As most of you know the Google pixel 10 was released today with Android 16 With QPR 1 and I just wanted to let everyone know that as it is right now The Galaxy watch 8 Does NOT work with Pixel 10 and Android 16 at all.
I tried to speak with Official support chat today and that was 100% a complete waste of time. the support rep was just reading me Auto replies on how to pair devices with bluetooth.
I hope someone at Samsung will see this and please forward this to someone that can get the Dev's to take a look at what's going on
I have an issue with my Galaxy Watch Ultra too. I noticed today that I wasn't getting notifications etc and when I looked at the Samsung app on my Pixel 10 Pro XL the watch wasn't connected.
Obviously a Pixel issue and hopefully one they fix quickly.
That would be for Google to fix, not Samsung. Contact Google support.

Being as much of an expert as you are I'll disagree and say that since Samsung designs and intends the watches to be compatible with other brands of android phones, they really should have tested the phones against the upcoming Android 16 (Baklava) launch -- and stop calling it entirely a google issue.
Why reset the watch and not the phone? You had the watch first, the phone is new.

I had this problem with my galaxy watch 7 and pixel 10 pro. I got it resolved with google tech support. What worked was restarting both devices and making sure the phone was in airplane mode during the pair. I also put my old phone in airplane mode to minimize interference.
Glad to have found my people! I'm having the exact same issue. Pixel 10 Pro XL is unable to pair with the Watch Ultra. It isn't an issue with my 9 Pro. I can pair back with that phone without issue. I'm sure it's a google issue of some sort..just super frustrating.
I thought it was a glitch, so I factory reset the phone. It initially paired just fine. However it was turned off overnight because of battery drain. I went to bed with 70+% on the watch. Might be an issue with the watch plugin app that's needed for non Samsung phones?
Same issue, Ultra with 10 Pro XL. More phones will be delivered today and the number of people clicking on "Me too" above will probably grow (16 as I write this). Can a Mod pin this thread.
