Galaxy Watch 8 Series feedback, order, trade-in thread

From someone who owns a Watch Ultra and a Watch 6 Classic, and loves the design of each in its own respect. If what I'm seeing around the the interwebs is true regarding the next Classic taking design cues form the Ultra I'm gonna ask right now for someone to please put a stop to the madness. My Ultra is my daily driver that I throw a case on if I'm going on a more grimy active mission. But the 6 Classic is my head turner when I'm suited up and want to keep that energy rocking down to my wrist. Silver Classic with a metal band, fugidaboudit. Round watches are still cool and Classic ain't Classic if it has a new school form factor. Give me a ROUND 8 Classic the way its supposed to look, and also a Watch Ultra2 with a rotating bezel. Boom! Everyone's happy.

OK cancel the comment. Just got message it was a programming error and the website is fixed and Ultra is back in the trade ins. Hope they don't make these errors in watch software.

After seeing the release of the new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic I fell in love with it. But, here is my issue. I wanted to pre order it, but the Galaxy Watch Ultra is not in the eligible trade in list. I understand it's still available online and more expensive than the classic 8, but we should still get a trade in credit for it even if it's nothing too wild. Shoot keep it at $250 or $300 if they're Feeling generous. Apple does it, why not Samsung?

We bought their most expensive wearable, and yet they lock us out of being able to get a cheaper version of their own product. We want the other one? We gotta pay full price. Not cool Samsung, not cool.

I like the Classic 8 look. I didnt think I would. Currently I have a 6 Classic and fiance has a 4 Classic, that she hates. Has anyone done and had success working with Samsung on a multiple device trade in?

My favorite thing about the 8 "classic" is that I have no desire what so ever to upgrade from my 6 TRUE Classic to get it. And as far as the 8 Ultra... Which is a weird name, imo because this is the 2nd iteration... I'm good with my last year's model. So thank you, Sammy, for saving me 💰 🤑 😊

I have the Ultra 7 from last year in the dark color.  I went to Best Buy today to see the Classic 8 in person in black and did not like it.  The only thing in black is a ring around the face and a little piece around the third button.  I decided to cancel my preorder and keep my black ultra from last year.  The black classic is way to shiny for me.
