Galaxy Watch 8 Series feedback, order, trade-in thread

From someone who owns a Watch Ultra and a Watch 6 Classic, and loves the design of each in its own respect. If what I'm seeing around the the interwebs is true regarding the next Classic taking design cues form the Ultra I'm gonna ask right now for someone to please put a stop to the madness. My Ultra is my daily driver that I throw a case on if I'm going on a more grimy active mission. But the 6 Classic is my head turner when I'm suited up and want to keep that energy rocking down to my wrist. Silver Classic with a metal band, fugidaboudit. Round watches are still cool and Classic ain't Classic if it has a new school form factor. Give me a ROUND 8 Classic the way its supposed to look, and also a Watch Ultra2 with a rotating bezel. Boom! Everyone's happy.

Do you have a lot of different bands for your Watch Ultra?

They will not fit on the new ULTRA!

Yes they will. Same exact design

It is not the same design. Ultra 2025 and all watch 8 are using new bands.

Yes I'm very upset about this myself. I trade in every year, I've been on with customer care all day and all they can say to me is you can't do it or you can select any smart watch for $100 credit.

I don't understand why you can trade in the GW 7 for the GW8 but you can't trade in the Ultra 2024 for the Ultra 2025. Makes no sense.

This is ridiculously stupid on Samsung's part. They have basically rendered last year's model as worth less than any other model in terms of trade in value.
The additional tracking options of antioxidants and vascular load are EXTREMELY important to me and my wife. She will get to swap out her 7 for an 8 but I get left behind for buying the supposedly more premium watch?? Only one way this gets solved and that's by updating the 2024 Ultra with UI 8 by the time the new model hits the shelves.

Try selling 2024 Ultra here, I see $180 if I include everything from 2024 model (watch box, charger)

OK, so if I want to do it I will just buy one of the older refurbished models on eBay and trade that in, and keep the Ultra. But in truth,  Samsung people, I will likely sit this year out. I was really anxious about the tease coming on for the glucose monitor and SOMEDAY the BP in the US - which was promised us by the same PR advance guys last year. So sitting it out sounds like the best idea.  Sorry, no sale here.
