Galaxy Watch 6 Wallet issue

I am unable to add my American express card from the phone w to my Galaxy watch 6 classic.

The registration fails every time.

I have tried removing and re-adding it with no success.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you tell me the steps you are taking to add the card to your watch?

When I go to add the card in my wear app, it is already telling me that I can add it since it already exists on my phone.

So, when you open Samsung wallet in in the Wear app, tap the + to add a payment card and select the Amex, you are getting an error? Or you are not getting the authorization from the bank?

Yes the Amex card is there and I go through the steps but the registration fails every time.
Funny thing is that it was on my watch for over a year working perfectly and this happened suddenly

I had the same problem on my Watch 8. The only way I could add it was to do a watch reset without using the backup and then add it in the initial wallet setup dialog.

Was it with the Amex card only which you had the issue with?

Yes, no problem with other cards just Amex.

So just to confirm...you did a factory reset to your watch...correct?....like as if it was new?
