I have a GW4 paired with S24FE. On GW4 the camera app for phone camera control does not appear. What can I do for it to show up and control the camera of the phone?

Steps to Make the Camera Controller App Appear on Your Galaxy Watch 4 (GW4):

  1. Check Compatibility

  • The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy S24 FE are compatible with the Camera Controller app, so it should work.

  1. Update Software

  • On your phone: Go to Settings, then Software update, then tap Download and install.

  • On your watch: Go to Settings, then Software update.

  1. Install or Update Camera Controller App

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.

  • Tap on Apps, then App store.

  • Search for "Camera Controller" and install or update it if available.

  • Alternatively, on the watch itself, open the Galaxy Store and search for Camera Controller to install it directly.

  1. Check App Permissions

  • On your phone, go to Settings, then Apps, then find Camera Controller.

  • Make sure permissions for Camera, Bluetooth, Location, and Nearby Devices are allowed.

  1. Restart Both Devices

  • Restart your Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy S24 FE.

  • After restarting, check if the Camera Controller app appears on the watch.

  1. Re-pair the Watch if Needed

  • If it's still not working:

    • Unpair the GW4 from your phone.

    • Reset the watch: go to Settings, then General, then Reset.

    • Re-pair the watch using the Galaxy Wearable app.

    • Reinstall the Camera Controller app using the steps above.

The only thing that worked was reseting the watch.
