Feature Request: Add a Restart Option for Galaxy Watch

Hello, I would like a restart option for Galaxy Watch, perhaps let it be added for One UI 8 Watch and Wear OS 6. It would be more convenient than turning off the watch and manually turning it back on for a restart.

It would be nice to be able to set a restart schedule like "restart when needed" or "restart on schedule" in device care on the phones

Since that would, technically, be a routine and routines do not apply to the watch, sadly it's not currently an option and I'm sure they are not going to include something like that in the OneUI 8 for the watch that they are working on now.  I usually just reboot my watch at the time I have scheduled for my phone to restart (or whenever I think to do it, whichever comes first).  You can set a reminder to do it on a schedule.

Wondering why in 2025 there still isn't an auto restart for the galaxy watches. And no dont just comment on this that it will be added to the suggestions thing because its been 5 years and yall can't get your act together. 🙄🙄🙄

@Raevyn93 Does any (Google) Wear OS device support auto restart?

I don't know if it does or not, but if Wear OS doesn't have it available, then it won't be available to devices running Wear OS.

Actually, I would not like an auto restart.  Even if I have complete control over setting what day and time it restarts, unlike the phone, it's always likely to be an inconvenient time.  I would prefer to re-start it manually. I have a schedule to do just that. I have a medicine that I take only on a certain day and time, so I restart the watch when I take that med.  And, as @LongHiker said, the feature is dependent upon whether the OS allows it.

@realaud I think that they are wanting a Restart when you click the power icon on the watch. Currently there is only Power off.

I didn't even think of that because when I see the words "auto restart", to me it implies they are looking for the auto optimization feature present on the phone.
