Weather app Galaxy Watch 7 not working

As of July update of Galaxy Watch 7 plugin I can no longer get weather data to my weather app on my galaxy Watch.

Samsung support told me to clear Cache for the app, but that just made it worse. Now I cannot even add location.

I'm having the same issue, no it can't be uninstalled because it's a Samsung app.

Oh okay, I wasn't sure if it was 3rd party or something. Factory reset the beast?

I've had the same problem for 10 days now, it's a bug that Samsung doesn't want to fix.

I am having the same problem so I'm glad to see it's not just me. For the record, I have tried removing and regranting location permissions for the Samsung Wear Android app on my phone; uninstalling and reinstalling the Android Wear app on my phone; and resetting my Galaxy Watch to factory settings. None of which fixed the issue of the weather data not updating on my watch!

Apparently there's now and update to Samsung Weather via settings --> apps --> updates to Samsung apps. My weather version updated from 1.1.20.something to 1.1.25.1 and the complications are working again.

Hi Eldis,

Thank you for this post.  I tried your "fix".  I have the same version of the weather app you had - 1.1.20.  When I got to the updates all I showed was some watch faces.  There were no apps there at all.

Whoohoo!!  Just for grins I checked Settings to see if there was an update for the watch and there was.  Did the update, fixed the problem.

I'm having this issue with my Watch 6. Ever since the Wear App updated recently it broke the weather app.
