Galaxy Watch
I went today to get a body composition scan to determine my body composition and compare it to what the watch provides. It uses the same tech thats used to measure bone density.
The measurements from the watch are lower for body fat and lean muscle mass. For body fat it's about 5% below the Dexa scan. You'll probably want to take your number and multiplyby 1.05 to get your more acurate number. Lean Muscle is 59 lbs under reported compared to the Dexa Scan, or approximately 65% under in my case.
I'm not saying I expected the watch to be spot on. I am only providing this information here to let others know if they are relying on these measurements that they should bump the fat up some and increase the muscle mass as well. If you are big into fitness yo may want to look into getting a body composition scan. This way you can compare the results and know how to adjust.
Happy Fitnessing everyone!
