Galaxy Watch
I've been using the Galaxy 6 watch on and off for a while now. Sometimes I'll go for a bit without wearing it, but I tend to wear it more than I don't. I use it mostly as a watch, and a way to check notifications without digging in my pocket for my phone. But there is, or I guess was, a feature I really liked and used quite a bit.

Quick commands for Bixby. These would save me so much time and hassle. One in particular was a god send in the morning. I had a quick command set up that would just set up 2 timers. One for 4 minutes and one for 10 minutes. This was for my coffee routine for my french press coffee maker. All I had to do was open Bixby and say "French Press" and it'd start the two timers up no problem.

Now though, after a small hiatus from using the watch? It doesn't work anymore. Tried it eveywhich way and it just doesn't work. It always will auto correct to "frange press" and won't do the command. I tried messing with the routines on the phone, but it sets the timers up on the phone. The whole reason I used that quick command on my watch was so I didn't have to use my phone for it.

Needless to say, I am extremely frustrated with this whole thing. It was working a couple months ago flawlessly, and now it isn't. Honestly makes me think of switching to Apple. I don't like the idea of features that work fine being stripped away and replaced by something worse. If something better, with wider functionality replaces it, then sure. That's fine. But this is somehow WORSE than what I was using a couple months ago.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to replicate this in another app on my watch? Is there a way to get it working again without having the timers get set up on my phone instead of my watch? Routines are absolutely awful and do not work half the time with Bixby.

Try wiping the cache partition on the watch and it might fix it. Start tapping when the screen goes black 1755195440203.jpg

That has nothing to do with my problem though. It's a feature that was confirmed removed by others online.

For awhile, I loved Bixby for what it could do easily. Samsung seems to be dumbing it down rapidly. I'm not sure why Samsung seems to always make things worse with every update.

Yeah, gotta agree with officialguy, every update seems to remove or reduce functionality. And now they're leaning into Google apps and services as replacements for their own. We are at the point where there is little to differentiate Samsung from other hardware vendors, especially Google.
