Since Samsung is discontinuing its Messages app, will we be able to uninstall it? It makes logical sense. Currently, the Uninstall option is not available, and I've switched to Google Messages; I'd like to utilize memory and remove the unnecessary Samsung Messages app.
Actually I believe it's going to stay. This is new from today. I saw a YouTube video and it saod thay samsung messages was having a new update that's allowing the RCS chats to be enabled again. So don't delete or try to just yet. Google is in a real mess with its Google messages. Google it you'll see what I mean. But I think samsung messages will be back to our phones again the right way. You should be able to uninstall it in a future update when they remove Samsung messages completely since they are moving to Google messages since itās more advanced and safer with RCS and encryption.
